Eyourlife 52-inch Curved Light Bar Review

Auxbeam 42inch

Going off road should be fun, not life-threatening. The idea is to enjoy a challenge without risking an almost certain catastrophe. This is where additional lighting comes in. The lights need to supply better coverage for both the forward and side positions. The Eyourlife 52” Curved Light Bar accomplishes this chore with a single fixture. There’s no need to install multiple spot lights to get the job done.

Lighting the Way

Utilizing two layers of 50 LED lights each, the Eyourlife 52” Curved Light Bar projects a cumulative radiance of 30,000 lumens. That’s an increase by a factor of ten over what typical headlights can achieve. Encased in a painted aluminum shell, each 3 watt LED bulb is backed by a reflector that diverts nearly all the light forward. A clear quartz cover lets all the light shine through with no loss. The result is the perfect solution for nighttime pathways, blinding weather, or even as a way to let others know your location.

LED Advantage

Traditional off-road lighting has been through the addition of individual halogen beams. While they have their benefits, LED light bars offer a few things they don’t. The typical rambling back country trail has its share of low tree branches to watch out for. There’s also the occasional deer, coyote, or other wild denizen who can suddenly dart out onto the path. The side coverage provided by a curved fixture like the Eyourlife 52” Curved Light Bar lets you catch these potential dangers before an impact can occur. Another major plus is the ability to rapidly switch LED lights on and off. This is especially valuable when encountering other approaching off-roaders. It’s also useful when the trail is broken up by stretches of paved road where excess lighting is prohibited.

Cutting Costs

With a total energy consumption of 300 watts and pulling just 12 amps, the Eyourlife 52” Cree LED Curved Light Bar won’t be taxing your vehicle’s alternator. But the savings doesn’t end there. At just 12 pounds, this light bar won’t be slowing anything down. WIth a long, low profile, it also won’t be creating much fuel-eating drag. Of course, with a low price, this addition is very efficient for anyone’s bank account. Having a lifespan of 50,000 hours, there’s extra savings in not having to replace the bulbs any time soon.

The light works nice but it’s not waterproof. A few weeks after installation I noticed water inside. I don’t expect it work much longer.

For the price of this bar, I was really curious to see whether or not it was worth the money. Well, I bought the light and was pleasantly surprised. This light bar does put out some tremendous light. Showed it to a friend who thought sure the bar was equipped with Cree LEDs. It is not. The Eyourlife has Epistar LEDs. They are pretty impressive. Since I bought the light, it has been exposed to rain, snow, ice and pressure washing. Have not had any problems with leakage or function.

Considering the low price I was really reluctant to buy the light bar. The cheap brands typically don’t function as well as advertised. But, I found out that this light bar produces a lot of light for the money. The bar also has very sturdy construction. With the light bar installed at around three feet off the ground, when driving down the road at night, trees up to 200 yards away are fully illuminated.

I bought this light bar for my Jeep Wrangler. I drive a rural road everyday. After six months, the light bar is flawless. I have never sealed or otherwise made adjustments to the product and installed it right out of the box. The light bar has been hit by tree limbs and brush, been through storms and continues producing light without a problem. I have a few friends who bought more expensive models. My light bar far outperformed every single one, and I spent a fraction of the cost. I would gladly recommend this light bar to anyone looking to get more light on their truck.
